TogetherLens Terms of Service

Effective date: August 31, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TogetherLens (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

TogetherLens lets you create group photos from individual face photos using AI. Images are processed on our servers hosted by Hetzner (Germany) and sent to fal.ai (using Google Gemini 2.5 Flash) for AI generation. We integrate RevenueCat to manage in‑app purchases/subscriptions.

2. Your Content and License to Us

  • You retain ownership of photos and other content you upload ("User Content").
  • You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to provide and improve the Service (including forwarding to subprocessors like fal.ai using Google Gemini 2.5 Flash to generate results).
  • We do not claim ownership over generated outputs; subject to third‑party rights and model/provider policies, you may use outputs for personal, non‑commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and third‑party rights.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate laws or rights of others (including publicity, privacy, and IP rights).
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content, or content involving minors.
  • Attempt to identify a person without consent or create deceptive/fraudulent content.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.

We may remove content or suspend access for violations.

4. Image Handling and Retention

  • Uploaded and generated images are typically retained for up to 7 days so you can view, save, or share results. After that, they are scheduled for deletion.
  • Metadata and logs may be retained longer to operate and secure the Service.

5. Third‑Party Services

These providers help us run the Service. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

  • Purchases may be managed via RevenueCat and your platform’s app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are subject to app store rules and local law.
  • Prices and features are subject to change. We do not guarantee availability of any particular feature or price.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service (software, branding, site/app content) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law.
  • Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation or that outputs will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service and update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or on our website. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

If you reside in the EU/EEA, these Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Otherwise, the governing law may be the jurisdiction of our principal place of business. Local mandatory consumer laws may also apply.
